RECYCLING IN THE OLD TIMES AND TODAY

Recycling in the language of art - discussions

Old knacks, practices and characteristic design reconsidered in 21st century fine art and design. How to discard nothing?
How to create new value from old, from a wobbly drawer of a battered cupboard or from a branch rotting beside the creek? What to do with “waste” left over from crafting or industrial production?

Three artists, painter Judit Horváth Lóczi, kokeshi artist Réka Tóth-Vásárhelyi and designer of the ENIHORN brand Enikő Horn jointly seek solutions to these issues and offer ideas in the course of discussions held in the ENIHORN showroom.

Let our grandmothers’ so evident “discard nothing” attitude find its way day to day to the thinking of today’s youth, just like in the old times!
