Concrete objects, antique wedding textiles, flavours of the future
Open Studios will reveal their secrets this year, too – Open Studios is among the most expected programmes offered in the series of events Budapest Design Week. Visitors can look behind the scenes in fifteen enterprises to gain an understanding of the work process going on in the background from brainstorming to completion.
The aim of Open Studios is to provide an opportunity for visitors to gain hands-on experience on creators’ everyday lives. Designers will receive visitors in their respective workshops, and will informally talk about the work done in the background, the beauties of each process, their memorable assignments, and their unique products.
The Open Studios programme in 2019 will favour fans of fashion, architecture, graphics, gastronomy and ceramics, who can explore the studios matching their interest. The workshops of Balint Sara Bridalwear, BORIBIANKA, ENIHORN, PINKPONILO, Medence Csoport, Tünde Ruzicska ceramic art & craft, GOGA FOOD DESIGN, CraftBenson and Borbás Architecture Studio, Logifaces, VPI Beton, SAUNNA kollektiv, de_form, faraway de-sign & meet service design agency, Graphasel Design Studio and DIGIC Pictures are ready to meet eager eyes.
Registration for studio visits is open now – it is advisable to register, too because visitor groups fill up quickly; for details, please see the programmes.
