Ergonomic design and environmentally conscious approach are in focus of the exhibition and fashion show by the students of Industrial Product Design Engineering at Óbuda University. Function, form and technology are in the center of communicative beginnings. Two events, several topics and inspiring solutions!
Developed in Hungary, HBH sports equipment is manufactured using special technology, and is suited for use outdoors and indoors alike. Because the basic elements can be combined in any way users choose, any size of area can be furnished with it; outdoor training parks also have a community building function. HBH has won a special prize of the Hungarian Design Award, and is used in numerous sports parks all around the world. Its creators now hold a unique demonstration and training session – to those who are quick enough to apply.

A new generation start-up enterprise, iamart Hungarian Cement Tile Manufacture offers a quick look into the knacks of manufacturing unique mosaic tiles and terrazzo. On your visit to the factory, you can glance at the everyday life of the busy manufacture, while at workshops you can design and craft your own individual cement tile.
INDUSTREAL design studio spends its days designing unique objects, installations and interiors. This time they hold a joint extraordinary workshop day with motorcycle building team NEUGA in their impressive factory yard. What to expect: an exhibition of cars, motorcycles and bicycles, motorcycle building, and, naturally, welding everywhere!
How is waste processed and recycled? What experiments are going on in the background? You may find out in the Paper Up workshop. Rita Koralevics herself will present the variety of everyday objects that can be made of paper using the right techniques.
If it is porcelain but not service what can it be? Wearable USB stick, jewel combined with other materials, moveable and sounding structure. If you could never imagine it you can even touch it now. MIxed media, contrasts, conclusions in different sizes, in the designer's studio.
The program offered by METU aims to call attention to the everyday humanity and the creative spirit of mindful presence which underpins hygge, the Danish art of living well. Student works, lecture and open discussion, board games and music, nice food and drinks are waiting for those who join them. Opening speech will be held by András Nagy, associate professor, writer, esthete.
Szimultán Művészeti Iskola comes up as one of the most exciting private artistic institutions in Hungary. Their exhibition focuses on their teachers’ works, while many different workshops allows insight into different design specializations.
