A Design Hét Budapest Központi értékek – közös örökségünk a közép-európai kortárs designban című kiállításához kapcsolódó előadássorozat célja megmutatni, hogy a régió hasonló társadalmi, gazdasági és kulturális hagyományokkal, adottságokkal rendelkező országai milyen formai, technológiai és rendszerszintű válaszokat adnak a meghatározó, közös kihívásokra – ezeket a kérdéseket járják körül a Visegrádi Együttműködés országainak képviselői a konferencia keretéban.

Design Hét Sopron

Immár harmadik alkalommal jelentkezik Sopronban is a Design Hét, mely az Alkalmazott Művészeti Intézetben 'Az átmenetiség újrateremtése' kíállítás megnyitójával kezdődik és a táborral, mint építészeti problémával foglalkozik, azon belül is elsősorban a menekülttáborral, mint ideiglenes és uniformizált térrel. Programs of Graphasel Design Studio

Graphasel Design Studio is awaiting the visitors of Design Week with a busy event programme in 2016. They put sports in the focus, since it largely determined the studio’s works last year. In addition to their case studies, special guest speakers are also invited to the event, who are in part their own KREA students: Lídia Páncsity and Ferenc Hetsch. CZECH JEWELLERY (PAST NAD PRESENT)

Petr Nový, the curator of the exhibition HANDMADE DREAMS – Contemporary Czech Fashion Jewellery will have a lecture on the past and present of Czech jewellery production. After the lecture, he will give a commented tour to the exhibition, which takes place between 24th September and 9th October in the second floor of Museum of Applied Arts and focuses on presenting  contemporary Czech jewellery from famous trademarks as well as from students of design. Symposium and exhibition

On the simposium “Young, Famous, Hungarian? – Star designers’ road to success” the school will hold an informal conversation with Hungarian designers about the joys and hardships of their work. Guests will be Adél Kovács fashion designer (NUBU), Fanni Vékony jewelery designer, Tamás Bartha and György Árpád Hunor (HeonLab), Zoltán Lublóy designer, Dávid Obendorfer product designer and Zsolt Vidák graphics designer.

The Museum of Applied Arts expects fans of object culture with a traditional design fair: designer-made unique, high-quality jewellery, clothing, ceramics and accessories. In addition to the fair, varied programmes including a family day will be provided to interested visitors.

LaLuz Visuals – Light painting workshop

Connected to our exhibition “In the Mood for Colours” we have invited the team of *LaLuz Visuals* whose goal is to create a new and spectacular experience of space using colours and lights. During their workshop for painting with light we can get an insight behind the scenes of this visual magic factory and we, too, can become light magicians.

Études for primary colours #RED – Élőkép Theatre

With the help of the Élőkép Theatre our exhibition “In the Mood for Colours” now leaves the exhibition venue. During the performance female sculptures start moving, their connection to each other and their surroundings keep changing and gradually developing. This improvisation fills the special rooms of the Museum of Applied Arts with new impulses and visions.
